Tim Lehnert is a Senior Case Manager at Sostrin Immigration Lawyers, LLP. He has worked as a writer and senior legal assistant in the area of employment-based immigration law since 2000. He specializes in drafting nonimmigrant and immigrant visa petitions for academics, researchers, scientists and physicians employed by leading universities, hospitals and other institutions. In addition to writing “extraordinary ability” and “outstanding researcher” briefs on behalf of such individuals, he also composes “national interest waiver” petitions and “exceptional hardship” waiver applications for J-1 visa holders. Mr. Lehnert brings top-flight writing skills, strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical abilities to bear on lengthy and complex visa petitions.
Mr. Lehnert has a Master’s degree in political science from McGill University in Montreal, Canada and a Master’s degree in English from California State University, Northridge. In addition to his work in the field of immigration law, he has published numerous features, essays and columns in a range of newspapers, magazines and journals in the U.S. and Canada. He also speaks French.
