USCIS Seeking Amicus Briefs for Kazarian v. USCIS

USCIS announced that it seeks amicus briefs to define the “final merits determination” raised in Kazarian v. USCIS, 596 F.3d
1115 (9th Cir. 2010), a case that significantly raised the bar for extraordinary ability petitions. Partners of Sostrin Immigration Lawyers are working with AILA on Kazarian issues and advocating to USCIS to use a clear and consistent legal standard of extraordinary ability.
