USCIS to Resume Attorney Notification

USCIS Director Alejandro Mayorkas issued a statement confirming that, after considering comments from stakeholders, USCIS will return to its previous practice of sending original receipt and approval notices to the attorney’s address listed on the Form G-28, with a copy to the address provided by the applicant or petitioner in the applicable form. This will take effect in approximately six weeks and it follows a month-long change where attorneys were receiving only courtesy copies of USCIS notices.
